You Took It All

The social worker came today, I was there when they told him, his access to his children has been revoked, he cannot see them until these charges are resolved. Potentially 2 years or more. Not a trace of emotion, not a trace of anything him simply lay there, never said a word. I want to think it hurt but that thing I don't think it did, I think all it managed to do was piss him off more.

My time is limited, I can't take the jabs because he knows exactly where to hit me, and ever since he threatened Emily, I have to protect her first and foremost. But unlike you I wont abandon him because things aren't going to my plan. I weanted to help him, to fix him. He alwasy said if he broke again he wouldn't survive and he hasn't no trace of him exists it's just pure Hunter now. If he's in there, Hunter has him bruied so deep he may never find his way out. You did this, you destroyed every shred of humanity in him, you unleashed a merciless, uncaring, demon into the world and you put anyone who gets near him at risk.

How do you live with yourself, knowing this is the result of such a bogus claim? A blatent cruel vile lie? Knowing you destroyed his life? He loved you, truthfully when he spoke about you, I havent seen that side of him in a long while, you balanced the light and the dark and then you shattered hi, for what? I don't get it.

He put the world on the line for you, and you stab him through the heart? I don't get it. I thought you love him? Thought you wanted to see the dark within and to help him thrive? It was strange to watch, a man who had lost everything, his whole world ripped from him, and honestly because of you. You Woke It Up

Do you know what the hardest part of my job is? Holding yourselkf together, despite what the residents will say, or do. Keeping yourself focused on their recovery. Its an outlet for them, a way to deal with their own demons. But never in 17 years have I ever cracked under their words. Until today! We ended up having to restrain our mutaul friend, he managed to rip out some of the stitches, and lost blood.
