Cruelty

I spent time with him today, a reminder of how dark and dangerous he has become. But the longer this side of him is shown, the darker it becomes. We talked about you, and how your betrayal has turned his love into a burning pit of hatred and rage. He doesn't hate you, but himself, for leaving himself open to what you did. And that rage has twisted into something so vicious, I don't believe any of us are safe from him.

He still blames me and Emily too, we should have left things alone, we wanted to make him happy, and you did, until you didn't. So we lost him too, when he gets out he said we're done, so thanks for that. He is bitter, he is angry and you are in his cross hairs, so pray he doesn't come looking for retribution, because if he does it won't be quick and it will hurt. I've never known him to not finish a fight, especially when he's been wronged.

I still struggle to comprehend what you've done, but I always draw the same conclusion, it was a premeditated move. This was always your plan to destroy him once and for all. You did, but you also started something you can't possibly finish. The other part I can't figure is you know, of all people you know what that thing is capable, what the darkness in him really is, why in the world would provoke it? You had to know this would destroy him, you had to know you were about to shatter the last remaining pieces of his ability to be human, and you know with him that weak the demon would break loose and take control. Why? Why would you do that? Now we all have to pay, because we all targets of its vengeance.
